Keith Harrison

Managing Director

Keith founded Amelo to help customers gain a competitive edge through agile software development. He is a developer with real-world experience who can also communicate. He plays to his strengths, advocating a process that focuses on people rather than code. His philosophy of conducting business in a transparent manner through collaborative relationships with clients is what drives the team at Amelo.

With more than 19 years of commercial experience in software development, Keith has helped many companies in financial services across Scotland to develop software products. He has contributed as a developer, project manager and trainer. He has been responsible for creating and delivering courses both for developers, but also actuaries and others in non-technical roles.

Keith studied at the University of Strathclyde and graduated with a BSc Hons in Computer Science.

He is an active member of the Glasgow developer community, a regular speaker at Tech Meetups and a co-organiser of the software craftsmanship conference CodeCraftConf

Louise Harrison

Commercial Director

Louise is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our systems and processes. She takes time to work out what we could do better, freeing up the Amelo team to better serve customers. She assists with the financial management and HR function, and is responsible for the day-to-day management of key contracts.

Louise takes care of contracts and makes sure all relevant compliance is in place. It helps that Louise is a commercial lawyer (legally qualified in Scotland and England/Wales) with 15 years of experience working in top tier legal practices in the UK and overseas.

We have the right people for your project.

We have the best developers who can be trusted to build the applications you need.

We don’t use recruitment agencies but hand-pick those developers who engage in their local development community, because to become a great developer you need to learn from and share with your peers.

Amelo was founded on a simple idea: Small teams of highly-skilled developers deliver several times faster.
